WE-WJP02 drug body scanner 

WE-WJP02 drug body scanner is a detecting instrument specially designed against criminals who conceal and transport drugs in their bodies. It uses ultra-low dose of X-ray to scan a suspect and directly produces images with a highly sensitive X-ray radiograph intensifier. Digitally denoised via integration, the images are displayed on the screen for the inspector to analyze and determine whether the suspect has drugs hidden internally. It is also suitable for security inspection over bags, luggage, and other articles.

This instrument is sufficiently designed to control the X-ray dose and protect from X-ray radiation. The X-ray does that the suspect exposed to is lower than national value specified in GB4792-84, Basic Health Standards for Radiological Protection. X-rays are transmitted and received in lead chambers, through which the rays leaked and dispersed from the instrument are so weakened that they are on a level that can cause no injury to human bodies. Thus, operators will not be injured on their health. As tested by the Health Supervision Institute of Shanghai Municipal Health Bureau confirmed, WE-WJP02 ensures the air kerma rate in the protected area behind the protection shield and the kerma rate at the operator's position less than 25uSv/h as well, the upper limit of the exposure to radioactive workers as specified in GB4792-84, Basic Health Standards for Radiological Protection.

This instrument was listed as one of the "Major Scientific & Technological Projects of Promotion" by China's Ministry of Public Security (MPS) in 2003, and was awarded "MPS' Third Prize of Science & Technology" in 2004.
